Information on Available Procedures and Methods Regarding the Switching of Data Processing Service Provider from and to Finmatics Pursuant to Article 26 of the Data Act

- Procedures for Switching & Data Transfer
Self-Service Export (Self-Sufficient Export)
Customers can export all exportable data free of charge at any time via our REST API.
Standardised API endpoints are available for this purpose, through which the exportable data, in particular master data, invoice data, and invoice images, can be automatically retrieved.
Switching Procedure- Step 1: Request API access data from Finmatics or use existing access
- Step 2: Retrieve all necessary data (if it is exportable) via the API
- Step 3: Import data into the target system
- Data Structures, Formats & Standards
Under this link, you will find an overview of the data that is exportable in a structured and machine-readable format and the data that is not exportable: https://www.finmatics.com/en/data-act/data-export The API is accessible via a standardized REST interface and complies with common interoperability standards (JSON, HTTP/HTTPS).
The complete API documentation is publicly available at:
https://app.finmatics.com/api/v1/redoc/
- Known Constraints & Technical Limitations
The following technical limitations must be observed when exporting data:- Authentication: Access is provided via JSON Web Tokens (JWT), which can be created via login and renewed regularly.
- Rate-Limits: Up to a maximum of 1,000 requests per minute for general data queries, up to a maximum of 100 requests per minute for authentication requests.
- Reference to an Up-to-Date Online Register pursuant to Article26(b) of the Data Act
The complete API documentation with all endpoints, data structures, and data formats is available under the following links (for registered users):- Swagger-Documentation: https://app.finmatics.com/api/v1/swagger/
- Redoc-Documentation: https://app.finmatics.com/api/v1/redoc/
- Postman-Collection: Available upon request from support
- Estimated Time for the Completion of Switching
Due to the standardized interface and documentation, the estimated time required for the programmatic retrieval of the data is about 2 working days.
The subsequent import into the target system can vary and is highly dependent on the respective system landscape, internal tests, and acceptance processes. A reliable estimate is not possible in this context, as it significantly depends on which target system the data is to be imported into and whether corresponding interfaces are available there.
